These terms describe what this editorial project offers, what you can expect from it, and what you cannot. They are written in the same tone as the rest of the site: clear, without fine print, and without promises we cannot keep.
Brújula Serena is an independent editorial project based in Buenos Aires. We publish short guides and workbooks on sleep, breathing, urban walks, journaling, and digital breaks. Reading the site is free and does not require registration. The library of downloadable resources includes weekly routine templates, checklists for setting up a reading or meditation corner in small apartments, and five-minute guided breathing audio tracks. There are no charges, subscriptions, or hidden plans: if any of this changes at some point, we will indicate it visibly before it happens.
The texts, templates, lists, and audio files are intended for personal use. You may read, print, and write notes on the material for your own journey. Reselling it, publishing it as your own, or using it in commercial materials without prior authorization is not permitted. To access the downloads, we ask for an email: it is used to deliver the file to you and to let you know when we publish something new. We do not share that address with third parties or use it for purposes other than those of the project.
This site does not offer medical, psychological, or therapeutic care. The guides and exercises are editorial materials, not treatments or diagnoses. We do not guarantee specific results, timelines, or particular changes in your routine: each person finds their own pace, and there are weeks when the prompt is not followed, and that is part of it too. If you are going through a health situation, consult a professional. We also do not promise features the site does not have: there are no user accounts, forums, live comments, or personalized tracking.
By browsing the guides and downloading the resources, you take responsibility for how you apply them in your day. The suggestions about sleep, breathing, or digital breaks are general guidance and may not fit your work, family, or health context. If a practice causes you discomfort, you can set it aside and pick it up again later, or not pick it up again at all. On the project's side, we take care with the accuracy of the content, but we cannot be responsible for decisions made based on it or for the way each person interprets the instructions.
We may update these terms when the scope of the project changes, new resources are added, or the delivery method for the downloads is adjusted. When that happens, the current version will be published on this same page with the date of the last revision. If you continue using the site after an update, it is understood that you accept the new version. If something does not sit right with you, you can write to us before continuing to use the resources.
For questions about these terms, about the use of the material, or about how we handle the email you leave when you download, write to us at team@thequietcompass.com or call us at +54 11 5090-6747. You can also send us a letter to Av. Corrientes 1235, Piso 8, Oficina 802, Edificio Corrientes Plaza, Buenos Aires. We read every inquiry and reply when we can, with no guaranteed timelines.
